PURE-MSK surgical masks have been tested by an independent third-party, Nelson Labs, a leading U.S. provider of microbiological and analytical lab testing. Nelson Laboratories performs specific testing to assess the performance of materials and products, and it does not make claims about the overall safety and efficacy of a product. PURE-MSK is FDA 510(k)-cleared for use as a surgical mask to provide a physical barrier to fluids and particulate materials. It is intended to be worn by operating room personnel during surgical procedures to protect both the surgical patient and the operating room personnel from transfer of microorganisms, body fluids, and particulate matter.
